Public Responses to Consultation Paper Forestry in NI 2002

The Forest Service issued a consultation document entitled ‘Forestry in Northern Ireland’ in June 2002 aimed at informing a review of forestry policy in Northern Ireland. The consultation was formally launched to a group of MLAs and representatives of the public, private and voluntary sectors by the Minister for Agriculture and Rural Development, Brid Rodgers, in a ceremony in the grounds of Stormont Estate.

Individuals and organisations were also invited to provide written responses to the consultation which ended on 23 September 2002.
