History of Drum Manor Forest Park

The Manor House

The Manor House was built in 1876 as the residence of the Close family. The parkland, fish ponds, garden and woodlands they created combine to provide the unique character of this old estate. Today only the shell and tower of the Manor House remain, however photographs of the original building can be viewed in the Tea Room.
