Forest Service Customer Services
The Forest Service is committed to providing customers with a high standard of service, and the standards we use have been published in an Agency Charter. The key elements of the Charter consist of commitments to specific turn around times for dealing with correspondence, approving woodland grant applications and paying grant claims.
There are also commitments on regular consultation with customers, provision of equality in timber marketing, maintenance of forest recreation facilities to appropriate standards, and handling of complaints.
