Horse Riding in Northern Ireland Forests

Our forests offer numerous horse riding opportunities and waymarked trails have been established in many forest areas. The forests are within easy reach of most major towns and there is usually parking available for horseboxes.
These forests contain many miles of traffic free roads and trails - the ideal environment for riding, well removed from the noise, fumes and danger associated with public roads.
An information leaflet, which gives details of the forests you can ride in, is available for download.

How to obtain a Permit

Download the information leaflet and contact the forest you plan to visit for further local information. Telephone numbers are listed in the leaflet.
Riding Clubs wishing to hold special events are welcome. Riding Schools and Trekking Centres can also be catered for.

Horse Riding Charges
